The Old Republic

Posted on: Tue Dec 13, 2011 9:31 am

As of this morning, AoA has started its new Star Wars: The Old Republic chapter! We are Sith on the Juyo server. While we are currently in the early access portion of the game, we are still recruiting! Just because you aren't playing the game yet doesn't mean you can't join the guild.

If you are playing or planning on playing SWTOR and would like to be a part of a Cool Sith Guild like ours, all you have to do is apply! You can apply here viewforum.php?f=3 and we'll get in contact with you about the guild.

We are currently recruiting:
Heals - Any Class
DPS - Any Class
Tanks - Any Class

The game is brand new and now is a great time to get started while the game is still on the ground floor. Hope to see you all app'ing and ingame. =D

Updating the updates

Posted on: Fri Nov 04, 2011 9:56 am

Fun times have been had in the Firelands raid by AoA and we are currently at 5/7 and working on Staghelm. Many loots have been given to people and many deaths have also been given out to people. Woots for downing stuff though and lawls at the designated deaths. Still looking for a few more people so pass by our recruitment forumand app if you are interested in raiding Firelands with a fun, easy going guild.

Also on the news front, Bioware has announced that Star Wars: The Old Republic will be moving its Pre-Launch Guild Program into its third and final phase relatively soon. This means that if you are interested in playing Sith with our guild and want to be in the guild before the game goes live, you should go here: and apply to join us. When the game goes live, you can create a character and it will automatically get a guild invite as soon as you are ingame! None of this having to wait for someone with invite privileges to be on shenanigans. Better hurry and app soon!

It's a great time to be in AoA, so why aren't you? =D

AoA and Star Wars: The Old Republic

Posted on: Thu Sep 29, 2011 11:15 am

Because of the interest amongst our members in the upcoming MMO Star Wars: The Old Republic, we have decided to create an Avengers of Azeroth TOR guild. The guild is called <AoA> and will be located on a PVE server and we will be on the Sith Side. I will be updating the site a little to reflect that we will be playing TOR along with WoW. Please note that we have no intention of stopping playing WoW and we are definitely going strong at the moment in Firelands raiding.

For anyone interested in joining the <AoA> TOR Guild, you can join us through our official TOR Guild Page: We are going to be focusing on PVE Raiding and as always the most aspect of an MMO: Having fun!

If anyone has questions please feel free to post on either our forums here or on the TOR guild forum. December 20 can't come soon enough!

LFM for Firelands Fun!

Posted on: Mon Jul 18, 2011 9:08 am

Avengers of Azeroth is currently recruiting new members! We are located on the Ursin-PVP server, alliance side.

We currently raid Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays from 4:30 PST to 8:00 PST. Wednesday is Progression run, Thursday is a fun run(used to be the weekly or ony/toc or even a continuation of the previous nights progression run), and sunday is either a continuation of Wednesdays run or an alt character run.

We are looking for for Healers, DPS, Tanks to fill out our Raid roster for our primary raid group and to help fill out a possible second raid group.

We are not a hardcore raiding guild but we do like to down bosses! We like to have fun and we all enjoy what we do, whether its sitting in vent making jokes, or hosting gnomish death races, or doing guild pvp. We raid because we like raiding together not because we have to. To us WoW is just a game(a highly addictive and fun game) and we dont get pissed at someone for not knowing a boss fight or dying to trash. We do put our best effort into raiding though and love downing bosses and getting gear.

We have been together for almost 6 years and have raided in vanilla, bc, and wrath. We are not guild that is going to disappear anytime soon. We are very stable and could just use a few more people to fill out the roster for this expansions raids. We are currently sitting at a guild rank of 15 and we are leveling it at a decent pace so we have a lot of fun perks unlocked already.

What are we looking for?
We are looking for players who want to progress in raids while having a fun time and have a good sense of humor. You don't have to be the biggest and baddest expert on your class but you must be willing to learn how to improve. Raiding is not every ones cup of tea so we are also looking for people who enjoy running heroics with a guildee. Gear is nice to have but that can always be farmed for, we look at the person playing the character more then the gear on the character!

How did you finish the last raiding tier?
We finished it 9/12 with only Nef and the Throne of Four Winds left alive. We could have downed them but we chose to not beat our heads against a wall and to have fun with what we downed. =D

If you guys are soooo awesome why are you looking for more?
Because its the summer lull, the time when real life decides to critically strike peoples lives. So in order to continue with the fun and shenanigans, we are actively recruiting once again!

If this sounds like a guild that would suit you and you want to know more info either post here or pm me on our forum or roll a lvl 1 alt on ursin and send Jedem a whisper or DM me on Twitter @Jedsblog. =D

Downing bosses and taking names!

Posted on: Thu Mar 17, 2011 8:50 am

Avengers of Azeroth is kicking ass and taking loots! We are currently 5/12, with Chimaeron getting neutered last night and Maloriak and Halfus getting oneshotted. The twin dragons better lookout because they are next on our list! Great job all! Screenshots will be posted later of at least a few of the downed bosses.
